Tracy Mannes received her AMS primary diploma from Adrian Dominican Montessori Teacher Institute in 2015 and her bachelor of fine arts from WMU in 1992 in the areas of English and Spanish with a creative writing emphasis. She has always been involved in the education of children, first as a volunteer focusing on reading and phonemic awareness. Then for 8 years as a special education paraprofessional specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has been at St. Ann since 2014 and is currently Dean of Montessori studies. She is happy that she is able to share with her students this holistic approach to education serving 3-6-year-olds’ mind, body, soul, and spirit. She enjoys sharing her love of reading, literature, and poetry with children. She is also a certified level 1 Catechesis of the Good Shepherd teacher and has a love for teaching the Catholic faith to children. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, fishing in Canada, and spending time with her family and her dog.
